Dating apps use astrology to start conversations and to rank matches. Our API compares two people the Vedic way and returns a plain verdict with its reasons, not only a number. It can also show how two charts meet, with no score at all, which suits a profile screen.

How to add astrology compatibility to a dating app

    Score a pair

    POST /v1/matching

    A one-word verdict, a plain headline, what counts for and against the match, and the traditional 36-point score behind it.

    Match users who know their birth star

    POST /v1/matching/nakshatra

    Some users know their birth nakshatra and its quarter (pada) but not their birth time. This gives the same score and verdict from those alone.

  3. 03

    Show how two charts meet

    POST /v1/matching/parasparam

    Each person's planets in the other's houses, read for love and for friendship. Nothing is scored, so it reads well on a profile.

    Forecast the couple

    POST /v1/forecast/couple/{theme}

    A love forecast for the two people over a date range, with the events they share.

Tips for going live

  • Ask for birth date, time and place at sign-up, and say why: the chart depends on all three.
  • The request names the two people bride and groom, because the traditional score is not symmetric. It has no rule for other pairs, so pick one convention for who goes in which field, use it for every pair, and tell your users.
  • Swapping the two people can change the result, so cache on the ordered pair.
  • Show the verdict and its reasons, not the score alone. Two pairs with the same score can be nothing alike.
  • Present a match as a conversation starter, not a judgment of a person.

Pricing

Every plan can call every endpoint. Test keys are free on every plan, with 1,000 requests a month. Paid plans start at $29 a month, and only successful calls count.
