Vedic Astrology Remedies API
Our remedies API suggests traditional Vedic remedies for one birth chart: gemstones, rudraksha, mantras, havan and puja. Each one names the planet it is chosen for, so a puja store or an app can explain every suggestion. Dosha remedies appear only when the chart has that dosha.

}What the remedies API returns
- Nine remedy topics: life gemstone, lucky gemstone, rudraksha, lucky mantra, havan and puja, general remedies, and remedies for sade sati, kaal sarp and pitra dosha.
- The life gemstone, read from the ruler of the rising sign. It stays the same for life.
- The lucky gemstone, rudraksha, mantra and havan, read from the planet whose main period (mahadasha) is running. They change when the period changes; send as_of to pick the date.
- For each gemstone: the planet it is chosen for, the stone, the metal, the finger and the day to start wearing it.
- The birth-star remedy, in the nakshatra reading: the star's deity, its mantra, and the next dates it is traditionally done, worked out for the person.
- Where the tradition adds a caution about a stone, the caution comes with it; the stone is never hidden.
Remedies are reading sections, fetched from POST /v1/reading/section/{section_id} with ids such as topic:remedy-life-gemstone. The kaal sarp and pitra remedies come back only when the chart has that dosha, and the sade sati remedies only while it is running.
The rules behind it
The life gemstone is the stone of the rising sign's ruler, and it does not change (RM-01). The other remedies follow the planet whose main period is running, and change with it (RM-02). A stone the tradition hedges about is shown with the hedge, never withheld (RM-03). A dosha remedy appears only with the dosha (RM-04). The birth-star remedy is keyed on the nakshatra, not on a planet (NR-01), and its dates are worked out, not left to the reader (NR-03).
