Astrology API features

The astrology API has 42 endpoints in 13 features. Each feature below lists its endpoints. Its own page shows a real response and the rules behind it.

Birth charts

The chart itself: where each planet is, how strong it is, and the Jaimini view.

Timing

When things happen: planetary periods, transits and the Hindu calendar.

Matching and doshas

Checks people ask about most: marriage compatibility and doshas, each with a plain answer.

Readings

Text for your users: daily horoscopes, readings, a printable report, remedies and karmic themes.

How every astrology API feature works

  • One set of birth details

Most calls take the same birth details: the date, the local time, the place (latitude and longitude) and the time zone. Calendar and sky calls need only a date and a place.

  • Every plan, every endpoint

Every plan can call all 42 endpoints. Plans differ only in how many calls you can make.

  • Answers that name their rule

Checks such as doshas and yogas explain their answer in plain English and name the rule they used.

  • Text length and language

Readings come in a standard or a longer version (detail=expanded). Names and text can also come in Hindi (lang=hi).

    Read the conventions

Two more endpoints help you build: GET /v1/meta lists the options the API supports, and GET /v1/health is a free status check. Both are in the API reference.
