A full report or an annual forecast counts as 50 calls. Every other successful call counts as 1, and errors are free.
Every plan also gets free test keys: 10 calls a minute for each test key and 1,000 a month in total. Test calls return real results and are never billed.

What counts as a call
Each successful call counts as one call, whatever the endpoint, with two exceptions: a full report (POST /v1/report) and an annual forecast (POST /v1/forecast/annual) count as 50 calls each, because each returns a whole document. Errors and GET /v1/health are free. Every response has an X-Calls-Counted header that says how many calls it counted. Calls with a test key never count toward your plan and are never billed.

Going over your limits
Each plan has a per-minute limit for each live key, so one busy key does not slow down the others, and a monthly allowance for your whole account, shared by all its live keys. Test keys have their own free allowance: 10 calls a minute for each test key and 1,000 a month for all of them together. Over any limit, the API answers 429 with a Retry-After header that says how long to wait. Calls already in progress when the monthly allowance runs out still finish, and any calls over it come off next month's allowance. We never bill you for calls over your plan: move to a larger plan from your account whenever you need more, and it applies at once.
Billing questions
How do I pay?
Choose a plan and pay by card on a secure checkout page. Our reseller, Dodo Payments, handles the payment and the tax, and emails you an invoice. The plan applies within a minute of paying.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes, from Billing in your account. A bigger plan applies at once, and you pay only the difference for the rest of the period. A smaller plan starts on your next billing date. If you cancel, the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, then your account moves to Free.
What happens if I use up my calls?
Calls get a 429 answer until the 1st of the next month (UTC), or until you move to a bigger plan. Calls already in progress at that moment still finish, and any calls over your allowance come off next month's. We never charge for calls over your plan, so there are no surprise bills.
Why do reports count as more than one call?
A full report or an annual forecast returns a whole document in one call and takes much more work than a chart. So each counts as 50 calls. Even so, 1,000 reports on Growth cost about $20 of your plan.
What if a payment fails?
Your plan keeps working while the payment is retried, for up to 7 days after the paid period ends. Update your card in Billing to keep it. After that, your account moves to Free and your keys keep working within the Free limits.
Do you give refunds?
Payments are final, but we refund double or mistaken charges. The refund policy has the details.
